MyPocketSkill has been selected as a high-growth business to take part in the Grow London Global programme. This 12 month programme is designed to help high-growth scaleups like MyPocketSkill to unlock international markets for growth and investment with access to international trade missions, workshops and networking opportunities.
Matthew Harker, co-founder of MyPocketSkill said “The Grow London Global programme supports our medium term plans to internationalise our platform. Building our strategic partnerships will distribute our platform globally and enable us to secure international investment that will accelerate our growth and ensure we stay on track for 1m users in the next 3 years.”
Grow London Global is the successor to the Mayor's International Business Programme, which has helped 1,300 London scaleups including Monzo, Brompton Bicycles, Mr & Mrs Smith and Bloom & Wild reach their global expansion goals. The programme is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and supported by four lead delivery partners: Oury Clark, Microsoft, Taylor Wessing and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati.
The cohort was officially launched earlier this month at an event hosted by Rajesh Agrawal - Deputy Mayor of London for Business.
Zara Ransley, co-founder of MyPocketSkill said “It’s great to be part of the programme alongside other London founders, changing the world. What a fabulously positive and optimistic atmosphere in the room. We are looking forward to working with the Grow London Global team to bang the drum for London and meet our growth goals for MyPocketSkill.”
